Beginners Guide to Retargeting

Why should you have a retargeting strategy?

As good as your website & social media campaign might be, chances are very high that potential customers are going to leave your website and forget about you.

You know how this works.  Someone visits your site, starts looking around, but then leaves.  It could be that they didn’t find what they wanted.  Or it could be that life got in the way.  For whatever reason, they’re gone.

Retargeting allows you to stay top of mind and in front of consumers while inviting them back to your website.

In case you don’t know, retargeting is simply delivering ads to people who have already visited your website or social media page(s).   And with most consumers wanting to take several looks at what you sell before buying, you need to stay on their radar screen.   It’s really competitive out there.  And it’s easy for consumers to forget all about you.

By using a retargeted ad strategy, you’ll get to share your message with people who have already shown an interest in you, even though they’re not even on your website anymore.
